Managing Director
As Director at Ducon, I oversee business development, project delivery, and the systems that support how we operate across construction and maintenance. With over 40 years in the industry, my role is focused on securing new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and supporting our teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.
I work closely with our project teams to provide guidance, help resolve challenges, and make sure projects stay aligned with programme, budget, and client expectations. A big part of what I do is mentoring staff and helping them find practical, buildable solutions, drawing on my background in carpentry and construction.
Across all sectors, I take a hands-on, collaborative approach, focusing on clear communication, strong relationships, and making sure we deliver outcomes that genuinely work for our clients.
Outside of work, I enjoy boating and spending time on the water. It’s a good way to switch off and recharge, and something I’ve always made time for alongside a busy work life.
