My Role at Ducon

As a Small Works Project Manager at Ducon, I manage a high volume of projects across sectors including rail, health, government, and commercial. It’s a fast-paced role where I’m involved in everything from estimating and planning through to delivery, often managing multiple projects at once.

With over 25 years in the construction industry across Australia and Finland, I’ve built a strong practical understanding of how to deliver works efficiently and independently. This is supported by my Diploma of Building and Construction from RMIT and construction engineering studies completed in Finland, giving me a solid technical foundation alongside hands-on experience.

A large part of my work is within the rail sector, delivering upgrades and maintenance works for Metro Trains Melbourne in live operational environments. I focus on keeping things simple, solving problems quickly, and making sure projects are delivered safely, on time, and with minimal disruption.

Beyond The Build

Outside of work, I enjoy a bit of friendly competition and spend time playing snooker. I also take pride in the work we deliver, especially when clients recognise it, like the positive feedback we received on the Flinders Street Station Drivers Locker Rooms project.
