Everyone knows their stuff, how to get shit done. But it’s the people and the relationships that matter and that’s what makes the difference.

Anything in the ocean… Sailing, Scuba Diving, Swimming, Sailboarding

What do you like about working with Ducon?
The team environment – it was one of the first things I noticed when I joined Ducon almost 10 years ago. Having come from the sports industry where team culture is high, it was good to see that this environment could be achieved outside of that arena. The company is also incredibly family friendly and understands that everyone has a life outside of work.
Favourite thing to do outside work?
Spending time with my family (although spending time on my own is also high up there on the list!), going out to dinner and drinks with friends, shopping, reading and watching too much reality TV!
A fact about you that might surprise people:
I actually enjoy watching any form of cricket!

Working alongside people who have a common goal to deliver successful outcomes for our clients & the business.

Spending time with family / friends & following most sports.
A fact about you that might surprise people:
Was in the last cut for Big Brother, during the early 2000’s before the final cast was selected.

Just started with Ducon, however I am industry dinosaur – I have been doing this for almost 44 years
What do you like about working with Ducon?
The team are fantastic, the level of openness and honesty in the office and the variety of work that the company covers
Favourite thing to do outside work?
I love footy, Bulldogs supporter, anything to do with the sea (I grew up on the coast) being with my partner, cooking, furniture making (old tradie) and coffee.
A fact about you that might surprise people:
Early in my working life I was a Publican in a country hotel.

The people, people at Ducon are very supportive and everyone wants to have fun, from the ground up.

Surf.

Spending time with wife and our 3 girls, boating, water-skiing, footy

I have travelled to Antarctica and spent a night sleeping on the ice

13 Years This Year… I have been in the building industry for about 43 years boiler maker (welder) four years, bricklayer 16 years, carpenter in domestic housing 10 years
What do you like about working with Ducon?
I like the diversity of Ducon. I’ve been lucky enough to put my hand to a lot of different sectors including government, rail, health. I even got to work on parliament house and many other great projects.
Favourite thing to do outside work?
Outside of work other than the obvious which is time with my family, I love playing in my band and buying guitars and gear messing around with audio gear and riding my motorcycle, A fact ( so many to choose from)
A fact about you that might surprise people:
As a young lad (about14) I won Mr motoX juniors. And at about 30 I played with the band and we had Judith Durham (from the Seekers) on stage with two other women as go-go dancers.
