The Brief

Peninsula Health is a major metropolitan Health Service in Melbourne and is the main provider of public acute, sub-acute, aged care, mental health and community health services for the communities of greater Frankston and Mornington Peninsula sub-regional areas.

The 2 West Refurbishment works is on level 2 of the upper level west side of the existing Mental Health Unit. The works undertaken include the demolition and construction works within the existing and vacated spaces of the level 2 Mental Health Unit.

Our Response

This project for Peninsula Health was for the refurbishment and external works to the existing
Mental Health Unit on level 2 of the west side of the building area.

The works were completed while the hospital remained in operation. A large amount of Ducons focus was on public safety and infectious control throughout the duration of the project.
