The initial scope had some minor flaws, so the Ducon team proposed an alternative design that would save the client maintenance costs in the future, as well as assisting with deterring vandalism and arson. Works completed include;

• Removal of all fore damaged defective materials from the structure, as well as removing the debris from site
• Remove and reinstate timber trim to roof rafters as per the engineer’s report
• Install new lower sofit Colourbond sheets to match existing colour / insulation / sarking, and new roofing to match existing
• Paint the internal wall of the premises only removing fire and smoke stains
• Replace HD Reflective Roof Insulation and ceiling batts
• Replace external kingklip roof sheeting to damaged Install ridge capping, and flashing and provide custom flashing to cap the 2 fire-damaged rafters
• Remove existing seating damaged by fire, including high-pressure cleaning of walls and concrete floor.
• Paint external wall to hide fire burns embedded into the brickwork
• Supply and install 11m Aluminium Double plank spectator seating
• Replace external door damaged by fire brigade entering premises at the time of fire
• Electrician sent to site to replace damaged wires in the wall cavity.
• Works completed on time within 10 days onsite spread over a 3-week period due to waiting on materials ordered.
