The brief was to upgrade and modernise the school facilities
This project included the upgrade and modernisation of school facilities through the construction of a new administration area, addition to, and refurbishment of, the existing building for learning and support services, with additional external site works and landscape redevelopment.
The red-brick heritage listed building pictured was first occupied in 1888.
Skipton Primary School is in a regional area, and is the only Primary School that services a number of suburbs in the surrounding areas. As such, the project was completed in a number of stages to ensure as little as possible disruption to the operation of the school and continuation of the children’s education.
