This project involved construction of a $500,000 fit-out in a vacant office tenancy. The tenant required a flexible workplace and operations centre, which was all deliver under budget by Ducon.
The new workplace incorporated new meeting rooms, enclosed offices and informal meeting,
kitchen and coffee area with architecturally detailed joinery. A circular feature ceiling was installed in the kitchen / coffee area, using decorative acoustic planks suspended from the existing ceiling. Other features of this area included curved feature walls, with custom made joinery and a banquette for informal staff meetings or gatherings.
The project required the relocation of an existing generator to a new location, supported on a new slab. It was ventilated by a new diesel exhaust, to an exhaust above the existing building.
Construction for this project commenced on the 5th March 2012, and achieved a practical completion on the 9th May 2012.
