The Sandringham Hospital Lift Addition was delivered within a live healthcare environment, providing Alfred Health with a modern and compliant accessibility solution for the Outpatients Department.
The completed works improved circulation between levels, upgraded key building services and refreshed internal spaces, while maintaining hospital operations throughout construction.
Ducon also successfully managed additional client-requested enhancements and design development items during delivery, including upgraded mechanical services, additional lift security, CCTV, swipe card access, electronic access control and new blinds. These changes were incorporated through proactive communication, careful sequencing and collaborative planning.
The result is a high-quality, durable upgrade that supports ongoing patient care, staff access and operational efficiency within the existing Sandringham Hospital environment.
