Estimator Manager
As Estimating Manager at Ducon, I lead the preparation and review of cost estimates across a wide range of projects, making sure pricing is accurate, competitive, and aligned with project requirements. With over 20 years in the industry, I bring a strong understanding of construction, allowing me to assess scope, identify risks early, and ensure estimates reflect how projects will actually be delivered on site.
I manage a team of estimators and work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to review bids, clarify scope, and confirm feasibility. A big part of my role is making sure nothing is overlooked, from programme considerations through to buildability and cost control.
Working across sectors including health, education, defence, and government, I focus on producing clear, reliable estimates that support successful project delivery from the outset.
Outside of work, I enjoy keeping things simple and spending time with family and friends. I take a practical approach to most things, whether that’s work or life, and enjoy staying busy and getting things done.
