Built around care.

At Rosebud that meant fitting out a fully compliant CT scan room next to an emergency ward and main entrance that never stopped operating.

More about healthcare
1
What mattered

A new Siemens CT scan room, medication room and sterile store had to be fitted out directly beside a fully operational emergency ward and main entrance, holding infection control, nursing conditions and patient comfort as standing constraints for the whole build.

2
What we did

Disruptive sections of the works were shifted to out-of-hours windows, and the room was built to the equipment's own requirements, full lead lining to walls, control room glazing and doors, electronic cardiac protection and a dedicated switchboard.

3
What it achieved

Completed to the satisfaction of the architect and client, with Peninsula Health's own facilities engineer citing “trouble-free jobs, just leave it in their hands.”
